Our lab sits at the intersection of Education and Technology. We recruit two types of students:
Background in education or learning sciences. Teaching experience (e.g., K-12) is a plus.
Background in ML, NLP, or software engineering. Research on LLM (fine-tuning, alignment, knowledge tracing) and VLA (embodied AI, educational robotics).

Aligning large language models with pedagogical principles and educational goals.
Developing and fine-tuning LLMs for educational applications.
Modeling student knowledge states using deep learning approaches.
Vision-Language-Action models for educational robotics and embodied AI.
